Passionate, inventive and with an unhindered horizon, Anne Ghez is a conductor of creativity who has carved her path, like later the materials, between love of Art, concern for excellence and perfection.
At the age of 17, she began her exploration of materials by developing a line of costume jewelry, which was quickly noticed by big names like Monsieur de Givenchy.
She then launched her brand Anne Ghez Créations and her jewelry received an enthusiastic welcome and was distributed to major designers and major brands before being exported around the world, to Europe and Asia, even becoming a benchmark brand in Italy and Japan.
With art at her heart as much as the material, she took a different route by creating Imprésario in 1996, a structure to represent painters to a wider audience. She offered a numbered distribution of contemporary paintings to decoration stores and in her own boutiques. This new adventure fully spread her wings as an artist since she would, under the pseudonym Anna di Stella, create her own paintings whose resounding success marked the definitive passage to new creative horizons.
For 20 years, she worked closely with creation and artists, before selling her brand in 2015, to rediscover her initial momentum, that of creation, on which she decided to fully refocus.
It is the material that is at the center of his creations, it is the encounter with a particular wood, a story, stones that have had another life that guide his encounter with his works.
Her work retains the hallmark of the jeweler, in its meticulousness, brilliance and precision, but is enhanced by the freedom of the artist.
Chiseled, shaped, carved from rarity, his sculptures are poems to behold.
